Expansion!

Pilates by the Bones now has 3 trainees learning to help people change their movement and change their lives! I have the pleasure of introducing you to three outstanding trainees, Stephanie, Brenda and Jennylee. They are all working hard on learning new skills in their bodies and helping to translate their learning into others bodies. By the time they have completed their certification programs they will each have put in over 500 hours of study and practice. Stephanie has already completed two months of training and is advancing to paid internship level next month! She will be accepting clients for a student rate well below the rate of fully certified trainers. Please feel free to refer friends and family to her and know that she will have my coaching and support as she continues to grow and expand her already advancing skills as a Pilates trainer. Brenda is approaching her second month and Jennylee has just gotten started. All three have impressive backgrounds and bring alot of poise and advanced skills to the studio. I am delighted and blessed to have them join the Pilates by the Bones teaching team!

I do Pilates not computers

I really am trying to get up to speed on this stuff.  Check out my page on standing posture and let me know if you can follow it at home.  It is a basis for working out your pelvic floor.   Yes you can work out anywhere you have to stand, in the grocery store line, in the bank line etc etc.  Just this exercise will put you on the path to building your inner core strength, awareness and pelvic floor muscles – very useful for oh so many reasons!  :)

Watch for more pages on basic home programs and Pilates principles that you can apply anywhere and anytime – who says you need a studio and a machine to get into good Pilates form!!
